Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief

The Texas Retailers Association is continuing to help local and state authorities in the impacted areas of Houston coordinate relief efforts. This is a situation which is beyond anything anyone predicted, and it is a situation that will continue to need supplies in the coming days, weeks, and months.

We know that many TRA members have been helping with relief and recovery efforts in many ways over the past few days and that y’all have done and are doing so much. TRA will continue to be in contact with our members and in contact with local and state officials coordinating relief efforts. We will continue to keep you updated as official donation requests come in. Thanks to all of you who are helping and will help!

In addition to donating specific items, you can also help through financial contributions. Many TRA members have already been very generous with their contributions to the relief agencies coordinating efforts on the ground. However, as with the need for items, there is also a major need for more funding to help the relief efforts.

The Texas Retailers Association has made donations to the organizations listed and linked below that are assisting in the relief efforts and we encourage TRA’s members to give whatever they can.
