The 2018 Texas Retailers Forum will be in Corpus Christi July 22-23, 2018 at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel. The 2018 Educational Forum, hosted by the Texas Retailers Association and the Texas Retail Education Foundation, will provide retailers with timely, topical and quality program sessions and speakers. Attendees will meet with hundreds of retail industry leaders from across the state at networking functions such as our Awards Dinner, networking breaks, and, back by popular demand, our closing night party – aboard the U.S.S. Lexington.  

Keynote Speaker: Gary Magenta, Chief Change Architect | Root Inc.

Gary Magenta is an internationally renowned speaker, author, and wiseguy. Whatever the challenge, Gary brings more than 30 years of business experience to every client, supported by a realistic outlook, a durable “street sense” for creating results, and a sense of humor that puts things into perspective. Gary is a highly sought after media resource and speaker for client events, industry conferences, and business strategy and human resources seminars. He has been recognized with a Stevie American Business Award for Executive of the Year. Gary lives in Chicago, Illinois and Fort Myers Beach, Florida with his wife and has two grown sons. The Texas Retailers Inaugural Forum in 2016 brought together more than 150 retail industry leaders for two days of of targeted training workshops for small retail, large retail, grocery and industry suppliers. We provided sessions regarding organized crime, maximizing your online reputation and participants were made aware of upcoming legislation that could directly affect retailers. Our post event survey showed a 100% satisfaction rate, with 95% stating they’d be interested in coming back in 2017.
